Last-minute gifts … If you’re having trouble getting some very last-minute gifts for family members, there’s one store you might not think of — your local drug store. The folks at The Takeout came up with a number of items that could work in a pinch:
- Peanuts and Pez gingerbread house kits. They’re great for families to do together, and can be just as fun when disassembling.
- Hot chocolate bombs. They work as a drink and an easy form of entertainment by watching a chocolate sphere melt into hot liquid and turn into delicious cocoa.
- Popcorn tins. There are plenty with a holiday-themed exterior with an interior divider that separates the buttered popcorn, cheese popcorn, and caramel popcorn. And the tin can be reused for storage after all the popcorn is gone.
- As Seen on TV products. Many drugstores chain have an aisle dedicated to them, and not all of them are gimmicky.
- Gift cards. Who doesn’t like getting a gift card? And with so many companies and fast casual chains offering them at drug stores, you’re bound to find one that works for that difficult to shop for aunt and uncle.
