Lionel Richie didn’t make a recent list of older celebrities who must be protected at all costs, but maybe he should have. Because he was hospitalized on Saturday in intensive care.
Lionel, who’s 77 years old, was performing that night in St. Louis, but he struggled to finish the show. He even asked for a chair during his final song, “All Night Long”.
So he checked himself into a local hospital to have tests done. He’s hoping to get out today.
Lionel had similar issues during the opening of his tour in Minnesota back in June. He ended that show early, then canceled his next two shows.
